The first time I heard this record, I was left near-speechless and rarely does a piece of music perform that kind of magic. The progression from album one to album two was like nothing anyone could have expected and not only is ‘Primary Colours’ a coming of age, it’s just the start of what’s to come: A vibrant, generation-defining career, perhaps? Early signs suggest yes.
And most importantly, I want The Horrors to win the Mercury Music Prize because I will make some tasty winnings from the bookies!!
