Things have cooled a little since ‘The Ides’ and Ben Garrett’s bandstock-assisted debut album is getting very mixed reviews. ‘Olive Eyes’ remains an understated classic, and one of the best pop songs of the last five years.
Here, it’s re-recorded and accompanied by pretty pointless but enjoyable transition of Garrett seeking a look-alike and then finding him playing golg and then doing something nasty.
