Lyrics: May’s Most Marvellous
LYRICS: May – A Best Of
words: Jamie Milton + Some decent songwriters

When ‘Two Dancers’ gets released, you can expect the lyrical summary to be dominated by Wild Beasts. Because frankly, after hearing ‘Hooting & Howling’, it’s become my favorite song of the year so far and that’s pretty much 95% because of Hayden Thorpe’s falsetto. May wasn’t exactly a dead end however, and here are some corkers to write down all pretty and stick on your wall if you’re that kind of person.

Oh the joy
Me and Stephen Hawking, we laugh
We missed the sex revolution
When we failed the physical
MANIC STREET PREACHERS – ME AND STEPHEN HAWKING

And when I told her I didn’t love her anymore,
She cried.
And when I told her, her kisses were not like before,
She cried
and when i told her another girl had caught my eye
She cried.
And then I kissed her with a kiss,
That could only mean goodbye.

THE MACCABEES – NO KIND WORDS
